Do you want to help prospective students who are interested in applying to Dalarna University? We are looking for creative students to join our student ambassador teams!
Dalarna University has two student ambassador teams.
We are currently accepting applications for our digital ambassador team.
Digital Ambassadors
Digital Ambassadors generate contents on social media, write blog articles, and share their experience of being a student in Dalarna through digital channels.
In the Digital Ambassador team, you have the option of choosing which channel you are more interested in working in (student blog/Instagram).
Your profile
- You are currently an international student at Dalarna University.
- You are comfortable with writing in English - is not necessary to be a native speaker.
- You are passionate about sharing and communicating with people.
- You can commit a minimum of 15-20 hours per month on digital ambassador tasks (the working hours depend on if you work with Instagram or blog).
- Most importantly, you are fun, creative, open-minded, and ready to explore new experiences.
Applications to be a digital ambassador should be submitted between August 25th and September 6th, 2023.

In the application, please submit:
- Your CV, including links to any relevant social media profiles you maintain (blog, Instagram, YouTube). Make sure to make your account public if you have a private account.
- A cover letter (max 500 words) OR a video (max 2 minutes) to present yourself and explain why you want to become a digital ambassador. If you choose to create a video, send it to us as a YouTube link.
- Please specify which role you are more interested in (Instagram/Blog/Instagram and Blog).
- If applying for the Instagram team:
6 sample Instagram timeline posts and 5 Instagram stories to showcase what you want to create for the @studyindalarna Instagram account. Please save your stories and send the files to us. For sample posts, you can send us the screenshots which include the picture and its text. - If applying for the blog team:
A sample blog article of at least 500 words with the topic of your choice.

Recruitment Ambassadors
Recruitment Ambassadors promote Dalarna University as a study destination through establishing contacts with prospective and potential students and help them with various questions regarding application.
What does a Recruitment Ambassador work with:
- Participate in student recruitment activities (digital fair, webinar etc.) and communicate with potential students.
- Answer inquiries from potential and prospective students via e-mail, chat, and sometimes video calls.
- Engage in orientation activities for new students.
Your profile
- You are currently an international programme student at Dalarna University.
- You are comfortable with communicating with other students, via e-mail, phone call, zoom meeting and live chat.
- You are passionate about sharing stories with people.
- You have showed that you managed your study well during your time of being a student at Dalarna University so far.
- You are comfortable with writing in English - it is not necessary to be a native speaker.
- You can commit a minimum of 20 hours per month on recruitment ambassador tasks.
Applications for recruitment ambassadors should be submitted between September 9th and September 20th, 2022.

- Provide answers to the 5 sample questions listed below and submit your answers to us in a word document. There´s no requirement for how long your answer to each question should be.

Note that incomplete application with missing required document will not be processed.
