On completion of the course the student should be able to:
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of political systems in different states
- Demonstrate an understanding of different institutional processes such as governance and electoral systems
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of the comparative method and how systematic comparisons among national political systems can be conducted
The course is included in the Social science programme and in the course package Political Science I. The course is equivalent to SK1053.
