Upon completion of the course, the student shall be able to:
• Explain key concepts in quality management, reliability
and maintenance [1]
• Explain common tools and models for analysis,
problem-solving and improvement work in the field [2]
• Explain common improvement programs within
business development and the meaning of the term “Lean
Production”[3]

Upon completion of the course, the student shall be able to:
• Calculate commonly used operational safety measures [4]
• Analyse an organisation’s quality and reliability work, and
propose appropriate improvement measures [5]
