Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • produce texts that deal with different themes and that relate to everyday subjects
  • structure and summarise the content of simple German non-fiction
  • critically review their own texts and the texts of others, detecting grammatical and idiomatic errors, and correct and comment on these.

Course Content

During the course, students practise their creative writing skills and written production through exercises in so-called process writing, where grammatical correctness and idiomatic expression are sought as well as adaptation of the language to a few different types of text production.

Assessment

The course is examined continuously through written assignments.
