Learning Outcomes
After completion of the course the participants should be prepared for their role as placement supervisors within the teacher education of Högskolan Dalarna.
Course Content
The course covers the current Swedish teacher education and puts it in perspective. The course also deals with theories and models for supervising. Within the course the participants study some of the course materials for educational science in the current teacher education system and other reports on research in the student‘s field of interest.
Assessment
The course has a combination of continuous assessment during seminars, built on written reflection journals and a final paper.
Forms of Study
The course consists of a series of lectures and seminars.
Grades
The Swedish grades U–G.

The main goal of the course is to prepare the teacher to fulfil her/his function as a placement supervisor within the teacher education.
