Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

- identify the need for the development of digital services in businesses and organisations,
- analyse identified needs in preparation for the development of digital services,
- develop digital services with a focus on functionality and usability,
- present the identification, analysis, development and evaluation of a digital service.
Evaluation and approach
- evaluate digital services with regard to functionality and usability,
- discuss the sustainability of digital services.
Course Content
The course covers techniques and knowledge that are required to identify, analyse, and develop digital services for businesses and organisations. Students will be given the opportunity to learn how to identify needs, analyse collected information, and develop solutions that meet these requirements .
The course includes practical work with digital services, with an emphasis on functionality and usability, and the evaluation of digital solutions. Throughout the course, there are presentations and discussions on identification, analysis, development, and evaluation.

Grades
The grading scale used for the final course grade is U–G.
Grades are reported as follows:
- Ongoing examination - 1.5 Credits | U–G
- Assignment (review/charting, and analysis) - 1 Credit | U–G
- Assignment (development and evaluation) - 5 Credits | U–G
Prerequisites
- Application Development for the Web 7,5 credits, Design of Digital Services 7,5 credits, Component Driven Web Design 7,5 credits and Project and Agile Work Methods 7,5 credits
Other Information
Materials and instruction may be in English.
This course cannot be counted towards the same degree along with courses that have equivalent content.
If the student has received a decision/recommendation granting study support from Dalarna University because of a disability, then the examiner has the right to offer an alternative examination arrangement. The examiner takes into account the objectives in the course syllabus when deciding whether the examination can be adapted in accordance with the decision/recommendation.
