Course Content

This course in sports psychology aims to provide the student with a practical and theoretical understanding of how psychological tools can be used to improve performance and deal with mental challenges in sports. The course focuses on three main areas: motivational interviewing, mental toughness and behavioural analysis. Through a combination of theory and practical exercises, the student will develop abilities that can be applied directly in the world of sports, both for themselves and for others, for example as coaches, leaders or practitioners. The course gives the student a broad understanding of psychological factors that can affect performance and how you as a coach can apply tools such as motivational interviewing, mental toughness and behavioural analysis in practice. The goal is for the student to leave the course with concrete strategies to improve performance, handle pressure and support others in sports in an effective way.
