Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

* transfer theoretical and practical knowledge into action within experience production

* discuss and problematize the conditions for ecologically, economically and socially sustainable development within experience production

* discuss and problematize ethical issues and sustainable development in connection with the operational project.

Course Content

Business training (VFP) in experience production is carried out in an organization or a company that operates in the field of experience production. During the course, the student receives continuous feedback on his actions in his role within experience production. Questions concerning ethics and sustainability in experience production are discussed and problematized with the aim of understanding the conditions for working in experience production on a local as well as global level. The course also focuses on the student‘s ability to discuss and problematize sustainable development within experience production in relation to, for example, gender, equality and disability.

Grades

The grading scale used for the final course grade is U–G.

Grades are reported as follows:

  • Seminars - 3 Credits | U–VG
  • business-based training - 4.5 Credits | U–G

Prerequisites

  • 45 credits Sport- and Health Science and 15 credits Tourism Studies

Other Information

This course cannot be counted towards the same degree along with courses that have equivalent content.

If the student has received a decision/recommendation granting study support from Dalarna University because of a disability, then the examiner has the right to offer an alternative examination arrangement.
