Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

* Basic labor law

* Basic strategic personnel work

* Work environment - basics and rules for personnel work

* Labor law, contracts and negotiation

* The foundations of rhetoric

 

Course Content

The course focuses on basic strategic personnel work, work environment basics and rules for personnel work, labor law, agreements and negotiations. It is a basic course where the student after completing the course should be able to work independently on issues of rules and law related to personnel responsibility and negotiation. The course also includes basic rhetoric where the student should be able to convince in connection with negotiations and agreements.

Grades

The grading scale used for the final course grade is U–VG.

Examination seminars: U-G

Take-home exam: U-VG

Oral presentation: U-VG

VG on the take-home exam and the oral presentation gives VG on the course.

Grades are reported as follows:

  • Written exam - 4.5 Credits | U–VG
  • Seminar - 3 Credits | U–G

Prerequisites

  • 60 credits within Sport and Health Science, Business Administration and Management, Tourism Studies or Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Other Information

This course cannot be counted towards the same degree along with courses that have equivalent content.

If the student has received a decision/recommendation granting study support from Dalarna University because of a disability, then the examiner has the right to offer an alternative examination arrangement.
