Learning Outcomes

On completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based methods for the implementation of quality improvement and development in health care settings
  • describe the strengths and weaknesses of different methods in quality development and improvement work
  • analyse and reflect on different implementation strategies and their use in health care settings
  • demonstrate scientific precision in oral and written presentations

Course Content

In the course, focus is on evidence-based methods for implementation and development in health care settings, such as implementation strategies and measurement methods for quality improvement. The course also includes the study of strategies to create conditions that enable the implementation of quality-development work and improvements in health care.

This is a course in the Master‘s Programme in Global Sexual and Reproductive Health.

This course cannot be counted towards the same degree along with courses that have equivalent content.
