Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • problematise principles that are the basis for legal and sustainable organisation and management in health care services
  • problematise and reflect on different theories on organisation, leadership and management
  • demonstrate a deepened understanding of teamwork, communication and working relations within and between different parts of an organisation
  • in a written report, define capacity development within global sexual and reproductive health in health care settings  in low-, middle- and high-income contexts.

Course Content

The course focuses on theories on organisation, leadership and management to develop strategies for teamwork and quality improvement in health care.

Assessment

Written assignments and a seminars.
