Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • demonstrate knowledge of evidence based methods for the implementation of quality improvement and development in health care settings
  • argue for the strengths and weaknesses of different qualitative and quantitative methods in quality development and improvement work
  • analyse and reflect on different implementation strategies and their use in health care settings
  • demonstrate scientific precision in analyses and written text.

Course Content

The contents of the course focus  on evidence based methods for implementation and development in health care settings, such as implementation strategies and measurement methods for quality improvement. The course also includes the study of strategies that can create conditions that enable the implementation of quality-development work and improvements in health care.

Assessment

Written assignments and seminars, including a seminar during which the critical review of each other‘s written work  is conducted.

  • A Bachelors degree 180 credits in a social sciences/health sciences/economics main field of study and English 6
