Russian for Mother Tongue Teachers: Language Structure in a Contrastive Perspective

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • demonstrate systematised knowledge of the structure of Russian in terms of phonetics, morphology, syntax and lexicon
  • analyse various linguistic phenomena in Russian in comparison with Swedish in terms of phonological, morphological, syntactic and semantic features
  • use Russian and Swedish grammatical concepts when analysing the structure of Russian
  • perform phonetic, grammatical and lexical analyses of multilingual students‘ Russian language development.
