Knowledge and Understanding
Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to:

  • explain the rendering process of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
  • demonstrate an understanding of the CSS cascade
  • identify examples of how value conversion in CSS affects responsive web design
  • demonstrate an understanding of accessibility perspectives in web design

Skills and Abilities
Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to:

  • use a selection of HTML elements to structure information on a website
  • apply CSS techniques to design responsive web components for a website
  • use common tools and working methods in web development work
