Our research focuses mainly on linguistics, literary studies, and language learning and teaching. In our dynamic research environment, we integrate research with education, engage in collaborative projects, and recognise the importance of internationalisation.

Research Groups

Forum for Linguistics
This research group is a meeting-point for Dalarna University’s researchers, teachers and doctoral students with an interest in linguistic research with different theoretical and methodological traditions.
Literatures in Society
Our research focuses on the analysis of the interrelationship between literature and societal challenges which often occur in cross-cultural interaction.
Language, Literature and Education from a Diversity Perspective (SLUM)
Our research focuses on issues of education that relate to language, literature and diversity, and encompasses didactics, subject didactics and educational sciences. It is practice-based and is about development within education.
