Guide: Find your Library PIN Code

To borrow books in the library’s self-service machines, you need a special PIN code. Here we show you how to find it and how you can change it.

The PIN code is required when students and staff borrow books on site in the library. It is not the same code as the one connected to your key card.

When do you need the PIN code?

The code is only needed when borrowing in self-service machines. It is not required when you reserve books online, or log in to My loans (where you instead use your regular university login).

Can the PIN code be changed?

You can generate a new PIN code, but not choose the code yourself. To generate a new code, follow the instructions below.
