As a temporary coordinator with a focus on sustainable development, I will be responsible for planning and monitoring the university's goals primarily related to sustainable development, as well as providing advice to management and staff on issues and working methods concerning sustainability.
I hold a degree in biology with a focus on environmental toxicology and freshwater ecosystems. For the past ten years, I have worked at the County Administrative Board of Dalarna, seven of which were primarily dedicated to environmental monitoring of aquatic environments and reviewing environmental issues within spatial planning. During the remaining three years, I worked on environmental objectives follow-up within Dalarna County. The environmental objectives system is considered Sweden's approach to addressing the ecological dimension of Agenda 2030.
