I am involved in various research and teaching activities in the field of energy technology. My work focuses on EV load analysis and forecasting, peer-to-peer energy sharing, and the application of deep learning techniques to the optimal operation of power systems.
Dr. Rehman Zafar is an Associate Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Energy and Environmental Technology at the Institute for Information and Technology, Dalarna University, Sweden. He received his Ph.D. degree from Kookmin University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2024. His work focuses on power system operation, energy forecasting, microgrid management, and deep learning-based power system optimization. He has been involved in various projects covering these areas and is currently working on peer-to-peer energy sharing and integrating electric vehicles into the current energy system in Sweden
