I am a Senior Lecturer in Industrial Engineering and Management at Dalarna University. My teaching focuses on sustainability, innovation, and circular economy. I also conduct research in entrepreneurship and actively work on developing collaborations with industry and academia.
I hold a PhD in Business Administration from Uppsala University and a Licentiate degree from Mid Sweden University. My academic journey has combined research and teaching at several Swedish universities, with a focus on strategic leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
I have an extense experience in creating, developing and teaching courses within different subjects where I integrate diverse digital teaching methods. I have also built bridges between academia and industry through collaborative projects, internship programs, and research partnerships.
At Dalarna University, I contribute to the development of both distance and campus-based education by implementing innovative pedagogical strategies that enhance students' analytical and practical skills.
I teach and serve as course coordinator for Innovation and Introduction to Industrial Engineering and Management. I am also the examiner for Thesis for Higher Education Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Technology and a supervisor for Thesis for Higher Education Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Management.
Additionally, I teach Circular Economy and Sustainable Development as well as Scientific Methodology. My teaching approach combines theory and practice, incorporating digital pedagogical tools and interactive methods to enhance students' analytical and critical thinking skills.
My research focuses on strategic and entrepreneurial decision-making in regulated sectors, particularly within the healthcare industry. I study how private and public organizations navigate digitalization processes and how internal organizational factors can facilitate entrepreneurial behavior.
I have also researched network dynamics and their impact on innovation, as well as how companies leverage their internal resources to act strategically and entrepreneurially. My research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods and aims to provide insights that contribute to theoretical development as well as practical applications in business and the public sector.
At Karolinska Institutet, I have been involved in research projects examining decision-making in healthcare, particularly regarding the implementation and de-implementation of low-value care interventions. Additionally, I have studied how patients are informed about waiting times and the healthcare guarantee within Region Stockholm, focusing on equitable and individualized communication in healthcare services.
