Dr Axel Grigor is a Swedish-Australian screen academic, practitioner and entrepreneur with over twenty years' experience writing, directing, editing, and producing award-winning films that challenge and expand conversations on creative practice, cultural identity and social justice. His work has screened at leading festivals including Venice, Tribeca, IDFA, and Melbourne, and led to speaking engagements at Pixar, Lincoln Center, and the University of Southern California. His work has been recognised by the Australian Council for the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences and the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts.
