I work as a senior clinical lecturer. I share my position between Dalarna University and Region Dalarna; one third teaching, one third research and one third clinical work.
I am a registered specialist nurse within health care for children and adolescents. I worked for 15 years in neonatal care, mainly in Falun but also for a few years in Stockholm. I also have a few years of experience working in a general pediatric department.
I did my doctorate in 2018 with the thesis "Breastfeeding in mothers of preterm infants : Prevalence and effects of support".
I was accepted as an Associate Professor at Dalarna University in 2022.
My research is primarily about breastfeeding and breastfeeding support, but also about nutrition for preterm infants. I am also a coworker and supervisor in research projects about parent-led pain relief for newborn infants, parenting after neonatal care and two different projects about providing support during pregnancy for eating disorders and for fear of childbirth/mental illness.
