I have several research areas. One focuses on breastfeeding and breastfeeding support, as well as care practices and nutrition for preterm infants. Another focuses on school absenteeism, with a particular emphasis on demand avoidance. I am also involved as a researcher and supervisor in projects addressing breastfeeding difficulties, parenting after neonatal care, support during pregnancy in the context of eating disorders, and access to primary health care.
I am the principal investigator of the following ongoing research projects:
Understanding extensive school absenteeism from a neurodiversity perspective: related factors, consequences, children’s and families’ experiences, and support needs. Data collection is ongoing.
The breastfeeding study – in the final phase of data collection.
Cue-based feeding in infants who have received neonatal care. Data collection is ongoing.
