Monday 29 January, the 3rd year Construction and Urban Planning programme students together with the Energy Efficient Built Environment master's students had a study visit to Gävle and the Näringen area.
Via two different projects, the students will look at urban development in this area.
The study visit began at Gävle’s Council where the students learned about the council’s plans to develop the areas of Näringen and Nyhamn. The goal is for Näringen to become one of the most sustainable neighbourhoods in Europe. The visit then continued with on-site visits to both the Alderholmen and Näringen areas.
