Welcome to the second annual Research Day for all personnel.
The event will be held on 1 December at the Borlänge campus in the open area between the café and library.
During the day, research conducted within the Institution will be presented both orally and as posters. As can be seen in the programme below, three companies will participate and present their research and development on the themes of digitization, AI and quality in production.
Programme, 1 December
0900 – 1200 hrs
- Data analytics and AI, energy and materials - finding areas for collaboration with industry in the region
- Presentations by professors from the School and company R&D representatives from Hitachi Energy, SSAB and Setra
- Coffee break mid-morning
1300 – 1500 hrs
- Ongoing research at the School - poster presentations, mingle and discussion
- Open to School of Information and Engineering students
- Seasonal spiced non-alcoholic drink (glögg) and saffron buns (lussekatter) will be served from 1400 hrs
1500 – 1545 hrs
- Presentation of the action plan for research based on the Research Evaluation 2023
- Head of School and Deputy Head of School
1545 – 1600 hrs
