Collaboration awards are presented to both external collaboration partners and to those employed by the university. The recipients are awarded for taking practical steps to develop collaboration between Dalarna University and business, the public sector, or other actors in Dalarna, Sweden, or the wider world.
Since 2013, the university has presented the award every two years during the so-called akademisk högtid (Academic Ceremony).
Mats Rönnelid, then at the Academy of Industry and Society, was the very first employee to receive the university's internal collaboration award. Since then, no one from The Institution of Information and Technology has received the award - is it time again?
