Pavilion construction at Campus Borlänge set to begin

On 26 April, an area outside Campus Borlänge will be fenced off so that construction can begin on the new pavilion that will be fully operational by the autumn. This will mean that Röda vägen will be non-accessible from 8 May, and all car traffic will be diverted.

The campus entrances, however, will remain in use.

Construction of the pavilion will begin 8 May and continue throughout the month. The work will likely cause some disruption and noise, and we ask for your patience and respect during this time. Areas that have been fenced off also need to be respected. Traffic to the car park just outside campus will be diverted around the buildings of Trafikverket 11-17 May.

The pavilion will be ready for use by the autumn semester and will house large classrooms, computer labs, and group study rooms. It will be two stories high and have three entrances facing the campus building. After the end of the current semester, the pavilion will be furnished and signs will be erected. The premises will be bookable in TimeEdit.
