You can still get your Covid-19 vaccination during work hours. The University is allowing this so as to encourage employees to get their booster doses and therefore reduce the spread of the virus at the workplace.
The Public Health Agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten) continues to advise the general public to get the vaccination. For the region of Dalarna, Region Dalarna is the authority that is in charge of Covid-19 vaccinations. You can both book a time with them or use their drop-in services.
As one measure to stop the spread of infection, Dalarna University is allowing its employees to get the vaccination during work hours without a salary deduction as long as it not possible to get a time outside work hours. If you have to accept an appointment during work hours, be sure to inform your immediate manager.
