Now you can get vaccinated against COVID-19 at Dalarna University

The spread of the Corona virus is on the rise in Dalarna, and beds in intensive care wards in Sweden are beginning to fill with seriously ill COVID-19 patients. The majority of these patients under intensive care are not vaccinated and 1 in 10 of these patients is under the age of 30 (Swedish Intensive Care Registry, for the week Aug 23-30, 2021). So far, 7 out of 10 people in Sweden have been vaccinated against Covid-19. By getting vaccinated, you protect both yourself and those around you from getting seriously ill.

In cooperation with the Infection Control Unit for Region Dalarna, Dalarna University is now offering vaccinations against COVID-19 so that you, as a student or an employee, can contribute to the health, wellbeing, and safety of yourself and others. As a student or an employee who has not been vaccinated or is not yet fully vaccinated, you will now be offered the opportunity to get your vaccination on campus in either Falun or Borlänge on a drop-in basis. Available times for the week starting September 13 are already decided and after that, times may be made available for further weeks throughout the autumn semester 2021, if necessary.

Opening times for the week 37, September 13-17:
