In my research, I am interested in exploring how the human/nature divide can be troubled in the subject physical education and health. I teach in the course Social relations, power and conflicts, and the course Education and curriculum theory.
My PhD project rests on the basic assumption that the separation of humans from nature is the foundation for environmental degradation. My project aims at exploring how the Swedish school subject physical education and health might trouble this human/nature divide, and thereby contribute to a more sustainable world. The project is framed by Karen Barad's posthumanistic account of agential realism.
