Rule:
Describe in brief the course content. Indicate whether the course forms part of any general or specific programme requirements, such as a VFU, specifying the number of credits unless the entire course is a VFU and this is clear from the course title.
Tips:
Describe the content in a running text, not a bulleted list. The content section should describe what the course covers, not what students are expected to achieve. To ensure the syllabus remains sustainable over time, avoid describing the content in excessive detail (particularly the technical requirements).
Questions to consider:
- Is the course content described concisely and meaningfully?
- Are credit-bearing modules specified?
