During three days, students from Polhem’s School in Gävle and Vansbro’s Education Centre tested various research tasks together with supervisors from the university.
This time the students built flexible small houses, designed a new product, measured carbon dioxide in indoor air in different situations, built and tested solar panels with different insulation methods, looked at whether the brain works in the same way for all people, and purified water using different methods.
The Ljungberg Foundation makes it possible for us to run the upper secondary research school. The focus is to create opportunities for students to acquire cutting-edge competence in the natural sciences and engineering, as well as to experience what it is like to study at a university and work as a researcher.
