Thomas Kvist is retiring after 25 years at Dalarna University and this was celebrated today, 18 June, with speeches, cake and gifts.
As a lecturer in Computer Engineering, Thomas has taught countless courses – in recent years within computer security and privacy, network security and system administration, and operating systems. He has also been programme manager, worked tirelessly to create industry contacts, etc.
Thomas was a much appreciated teacher and supervisor. As a former student said, he was very knowledgeable, pedagogical and supportive.
We thank Thomas so much for all his efforts and what he has contributed to all his students, the subjects he taught, his colleagues and the university in general over the years.
