It was a successful full day on campus in Borlänge when the Dalarna Industrial Competence Council together with Dalarna University hosted the Dalarna Industrial Competence Day 2026 on Friday, 6 February.
The theme was "Sweden's most gender-equal industry", with Sweden's Minister for Gender Equality Nina Larsson in attendance.
With a mix of presentations and panel discussions, there were interesting in-depth discussions for everyone.
Thanks to the participants and not least the moderators Sara Jons, CEO of the Ljungbergsfonden, and Roza Guclu Hedin from Central Sweden’s Chamber of Commerce.
Thanks also to the almost 130 audience members who attended and showed that industry's skills supply is something which stimulates great interest.
