The Biennial Regional Conference in Mathematics is a new meeting place for everyone engaged in or interested in mathematics education and mathematics didactics, from preschool to secondary school.
The programme for 2026 offers research-related lectures and workshops focusing on mathematics teaching in preschool and throughout compulsory school. We are especially pleased to welcome Professor Jorryt van Bommel as our keynote speaker.
The day concludes with an inspiring workshop on AI in mathematics education, where we will explore together the boundary between genuine support and technological hype.
During both the welcome mingle and lunch, there will be ample opportunity to network, exchange experiences, and meet colleagues from across the region.
We hope the Biennial Regional Conference in Mathematics will become the starting point for a vibrant regional tradition and become an ongoing forum where preschool teachers, schoolteachers, researchers, and school leaders can share ideas, challenges, and new perspectives on mathematics education.
