The STINT Teaching Sabbatical Programme is aimed at researchers and teachers interested in teaching-related issues. The programme shall promote individual professional development, increase the capacity of the Swedish HEI to deliver quality higher education and contribute to the creation of new international partnerships.
It allows the participants to spend an autumn semester at one of eleven universities in the USA, Japan, Singapore or Hong Kong.
Dalarna University can nominate three teachers: this is done after a decision by the Vice Chancellor.
How to apply
Nominees must hold a doctorate or equivalent, and be employed by and well-established at a Swedish HEI.
Complete the Teaching Sabbatical Nomination Form. Note that your head of department or head of school must complete the final part under the heading “Nomination”.
Email the nomination form no later than Monday 2nd of September 2024 to: Susanne Corrigox, sco@du.se.
