The University Governing Board has now made the decision on the location of the University’s cohesive academic environments. What the decision means is greater opportunity for creativity and development within research and education.
The following cohesive academic environments will be located at the new Campus Borlänge:
- Hum-sam
- Teknik och data
The following cohesive academic environments will be located at Campus Falun:
- Hälsa och välfärd
- Medier
- Språk
- Utbildning och lärande
This decision means that the subjects philosophy, history, religious studies, sociology and political science will move to Campus Borlänge. The move will take place only once the new Campus Borlänge is complete.
Schools at Campus Borlänge:
- School of Culture and Society
- School of Information and Engineering
Schools at Campus Falun:
- School of Health and Welfare
- School of Culture and Society (Department of Media Production)
- School of Language, Literatures and Learning
- School of Teacher Education
