You can find the link to the survey in an email from Dalarna University in your inbox with the subject line Dalarna University Employee Survey 2024 (Högskolan Dalarna medarbetarundersökning 2024).
Every employee can respond to the employee survey. It is anonymous and available in both Swedish and English, although responses will be compiled and presented together as a whole both at an organisational level and a departmental level.
Currently, around 54% of employees have completed the survey. In previous years, the response rate has been around 80%.
Why should I respond to the employee survey?
The employee survey is important for the University as a whole, for each department, and for every employee since it helps the University gain an understanding of where work needs to be done to ensure that it is a good place to work.
For results to be shown at a departmental level, at least five people from that department must complete the survey.
How are my responses processed?
Anonymity is an important aspect for everyone involved in the survey – both those responding to the questions and those working with the administration of the survey. To ensure and guarantee anonymity, the third-party provider is responsible for the entire data collection process. Since the results are stored on the provider’s servers, nobody can see who has completed the survey or how an individual has responded.
Remember that all responses are anonymous, even if you receive a reminder. All communication in the survey system (DialogManager) is automated without any human involvement. Personal information (your email address) is decoded before any results are presented.
To ensure your anonymity, the information you provide about yourself and your background will only be used in the presentation of the overall results. Your immediate manager will NOT be able to see, access, or analyse any information based on the questions about your background.
