Background

I have acquired my education in B.E (Mechanical and Production), and M.E (Production Engineering) from Annamalai University, India. In the year 2007, I obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, from the University of Science and Technology, South Korea. To carry out my research in the field of advanced materials and corrosion, I am a recipient of three prestigious fellowships namely the Humboldt Fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany, JSPS Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, and the K.S. Krishnan Research Associateship of Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences, India. I have authored and co-authored 3 international patents, 2 book chapters, 34 journal articles, and 5 conference proceeding papers.

Teaching

I am actively teaching, and supervising thesis works for the master's program students in Material Engineering
