E-CUL-TOURS: Managing Cultural Heritage in Tourism

The purpose of this project is to develop an online course for students in our Master's Programme in Tourism in which all aspects of managing and working with cultural heritage in terms of tourism are given focus.

The project also aims to facilitate the establishment of an international network for destinations that actively work with the development of cultural heritage related to tourism in different countries - Germany, Sweden, Portugal and Italy.

Within the framework of the project, students in the one-year Tourism Destination Development Programme in the academic year 2018-2019 will have the opportunity to conduct fieldwork in the various destinations that are affiliated with the project.
