When you apply to a position at the University, we receive such personal data as your name, civic registration number (personnummer), address, telephone number, and email address in the documents you submit. We may also receive your photograph. These are all required for us to be able both to recruit new staff and to make decisions related to employment – a so-called exercise of public authority (myndighetsutövning).

We store your personal data as long as required for the specific purpose it was intended and as long as is required by law and other regulations. In normal cases, your application is deleted after two years the employment decision has been taken.
