Since 2008, researchers at CeTLler have been involved in R&D projects in various fields related to events primarily in Dalarna but also in other parts of Sweden as well as abroad.
A few events have been the focus of studies on a regular basis, namely the Peace & Love music festival and Cross-Country World Cup Final Svenska skidspelen/World Cup in Falun 2015. Other events used as case studies have been Classic Car Week and equestrian-related events such as Dalatravet Rättvik, Sweden International Horse Show in Stockholm and the national Icelandic horse show Landsmót, Hólar, Iceland.
Study results have been used by both event planners and regional planners in their strategic decision-making processes.
