First Cycle

Upon completion of the course, the student shall be able to:

Independently plan and perform a mechanical engineering project within a given time frame.
Formulate and analyse problem statements.
Exhibit a critical approach and methodological awareness.
Conduct an independent literature study that describes a problem from different perspectives.
Generate and evaluate technical solutions with regards to scientific, social and ethical aspects.
With regard to scientific aspects, critically and systematically review and evaluate his or her own work and that of others, and communicate the results in dialogue with others.
Present results eloquently in an oral presentation and a written report.
Demonstrate an ability to identify the need for further knowledge.
