Learning outcomes for the course

On completion of the course the student should be able to:

  • present their acquired knowledge in linguistic theory and the most important analytical methods in general linguistics and sociolinguistics in good oral and written Italian
  • practically apply this acquired knowledge to Italian language examples
  • present in writing a clear argument in a stylistically effective and appropriate manner, by using correct terminology, according to one of the research methods in linguistics.
