Description
There is a variation in the European registries in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) concerning the quality of content and registration process. In 2014, data concerning OHCA were collected from 27 European countries, which resulted in a publication; EuReCa ONE. The project has continued with a follow-up study (EuReCa TWO) where the method from the EuReCa ONE was repeated with the addition of more variables. The objectives of this project is, for instance, to encourage all the European countries to collect OHCA data in specific registers, to describe the incidences and outcomes of OHCA, and to increase the collaboration within the EuReCa network. The design was a prospective observational study. The collaboration process includes above all the data-collection process and the writing process of the manuscripts.
