In my role as senior lecturer I am focused on education and research of highest quality. My research is focused on price dispersion online. I have been a member of both the board and council of research, and am currently a member of the education committee.
After my studies at Umeå University for a Master of Business Administration, I was accepted for doctoral studies in microdata analysis at Dalarna University, whereby I received a doctoral degree in June 2021. Through collaboration with Handelns Utredningsinstitut (HUI) in Stockholm, I could then participate in the work with the research project "Jakten på det lägsta priset – hur påverkas handeln av prisjämförelsesidor på nätet?”. The work took place in close collaboration with the price comparison site PriceSpy (PriceSpy Sweden) where most visits and data collection took place in consultation with this counterpart. Data analysis and two reports, a podcast, several conference presentations as well as 5 articles as part of my doctoral dissertation was produced within the framework of the research project, which was then presented to clients and other stakeholders.
I have taught data analysis and visualization, python and r programming, applied big data and cloud computing, cryptography, economics, scientific methods and more.
I supervise and examine degree projects at basic and advanced level.
