I work with development of higher education pedagogic activity, with a specific focus on the digital work environment for the teachers and digitization of teachers' workplaces.

Background

I am an associate professor in Work Science since 2017 and became a doctor of technology in Industrial Work Science at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in 2007. My academic qualification began with a University Certificate in Forest Management 1988 at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science (SLU), Skinnskatteberg. After that, I worked for five years with research and development projects focusing on ergonomic review and improvement of small-scale technology in private forestry at SLU, Garpenberg. I started my employment at Dalarna University in 2000 and have over the years held various roles such as research assistant, doctoral student, project coordinator, project manager, research assistant, senior lecture, head of department and head of school.

Teaching

Today I teach seminars and courses in higher education pedagogy, primarily related to the exercise of public authority, the role of teachers and the work environment. I have also taught in the areas of attractive work, work environment measures and motivation for work environment management, primarily at Human Resource Mangement, Construction and Engineering programs as well as on KULA courses (Competence development and learning for working life). 

Research

Above all, my research concerns attractive work, work environment development and motivation for work environment work. Over the years I have researched in various industries with a strong focus on manufacturing industry, the forest industry and the education sector.
