Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- ensure progression from bachelor to master curricula and syllabi in sexual, reproductive and perinatal health, which is the subject for midwives
- develop the master’s curriculum and syllabus in MSc in midwifery using outcomes-based teaching and learning that is student-centred
- analyse how constructive alignment is used in each activity and examination in a course so that students achieve the learning outcomes of the curriculum and syllabus
- develop student-centred and challenge-driven course activities and examinations using net-based learning (flipped classrooms) so that students achieve the learning outcomes in the curriculum and syllabus
- critically evaluate the quality of digital learning resources in data analysis and in the choice of evidence-based literature for each of the courses in the developed MSc
- critically analyse the pedagogical value and pedagogical and technical challenges of blended net-based learning, and the use of virtual platforms and digital learning resources
- ensure equality and equity are reflected in the curriculum and in each syllabus as described in the sustainable development goals 2030
- use constructive alignment, challenge-driven education, flipped classrooms, digital learning resources and various examination methods
- discuss the importance of collaboration and teamwork within and between institutions and professionals in order to enhance student-centred higher education and women’s career development and leadership in education and health
- reflect on the plan-do-study-act cycle as an integrated part of each course for quality improvement from a student-centred perspective
- compile the pre- and post-test.
Course Content
The student will look in-depth at development, implementation and evaluation of courses in higher education and learning (MSc in Midwifery). Further, it will help the student gain in-depth understanding of global and national perspectives that influence higher education: this includes collaboration and teamwork within and between institutions and professionals to enhance female leadership and to establish equity and equality in health care for women and children. The student will be prepared to use digital learning resources in their teaching.
Assessment
Oral and written presentation via workshop.

- A Bachelor´s degree comprising at least 180 credits, with a major in Nursing, Public Health Science
