Learning outcomes for the course
After completion of the course the student should be able to:
- demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a specific and focused part of political science, including knowledge about its theoretical bases, applied methods, and relevant research questions,
- demonstrate ability to search, collect, evaluate and critically interpret relevant information about a specific political science issue,
- demonstrate ability to identify, formulate and examine a political science issue within assigned time limits,
- demonstrate ability, in both written text and oral dialogue to present a problem statement, the method, and results from a small scale research project,
- demonstrate ability to relate the small scale research project to relevant scholarly, societal and ethical aspects.
