Chinese Business Life and the Chinese Market
The course gives advanced knowledge of Chinese business life and the Chinese market. The lectures and seminars will be based on different themes, among others, basic business ethics in China, business etiquette in modern Chinese business life, the features of the Chinese market, the role of the Chinese government in business life and Chinese business relationships. The course material will be selected from Chinese publications. The students need to read and prepare the course material before each lecture. During the lectures the students will be given chances to present and discuss their own ideas on a certain issue in Chinese. Through these exercises the students deepen their knowledge of modern Chinese business life and develop their ability to properly express their own opinions in Chinese on different topics in the business area.
Surf on the Internet, read and send emails, use a word-processing programme (e.g. Word). Plug in peripherals to your computer, install programmes and adapt installations for your computer.
Access to a computer (Not a mini pc, tablet or similar) that is not older than two years (or equivalent) and broadband connection, at least 2 Mbit/s (not mobile broadband, because mobile broadband can vary considerably in speed).
Higher rate of web-based communication where our learning platform (Learn) is a natural element of the course. Web-based meetings with sound and image where simple presentations can be held. Lectures can be broadcast live or can alternatively be made available afterwards online.
