Learning outcomes for the course
On completion of the course, students will be able to:
- compose short Chinese texts within a variety of writing genres or forms such as letters, diaries, (book) reviews, reports, and summaries
- correctly use Chinese conjunctions, prepositions, particles and interjections
- master the use of Chinese punctuation
- understand the conventions of Chinese writing
- review, revise and edit an essay according to standard Chinese Mandarin grammar and writing format.
