Chinese in Speech and Writing IV

Starts week 3, 2024

This course is aimed at students who, after completing three terms of studies in modern Chinese, want to strengthen and further develop their Chinese proficiency in the four areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. In the course they will learn to express themselves on a variety of more advanced topics such as education, sports, the environment etc., in both speech and writing.
Teaching and examination is carried out entirely on distance. The teaching mainly consists of various practical activities, in the form of teacher-guided seminars and individual tasks. The course management system Fronter is used for course information, submissions and different activities.

Surf on the Internet, read and send emails, use a word-processing programme (e.g. Word). Plug in peripherals to your computer, install programmes and adapt installations for your computer.

Computer Capacity:

Access to a computer (Not a mini pc, tablet or similar) that is not older than two years (or equivalent) and broadband connection, at least 2 Mbit/s (not mobile broadband, because mobile broadband can vary considerably in speed).

Means of Education:

Higher rate of web-based communication where our learning platform (Learn) is a natural element of the course. Web-based meetings with sound and image where simple presentations can be held. Lectures can be broadcast live or can alternatively be made available afterwards online.
